Search Knowledge Base
You can view any Demonstration Projects by clicking on one of the headings listed on the left side of the page to see the full list of themes and sectors. Alternatively, you can use the search engine on the right side of this page. It gives you a variety of options to help you to quickly and effectively conduct your search by:
Search by:
Alphabetical Order
Demonstration Projects are listed by a combination of either the project name or the name of the client organisation/company that own the project. If you know the name of the organisation/company or project, you can enter either of these into the FREE TEXT box and select 'Search' to bring back a list of search results that match your criteria. If you don’t know the name of the Demonstration Project, leave the ‘FREE TEXT’ and ‘Search’ boxes blank and just click on ‘VIEW ALL’ to see a complete A to Z list. Click on a letter to view at a glance all the Demonstration Projects listed under it.
Demonstration Project Theme
Each Demonstration Project has been assigned a theme or multiple themes relating to the nature of the project e.g. Construction Legacy and Sustainability or Benchmarking and Managing Risk. You can search on any of the themes to obtain your results. By holding down Ctrl whilst you select the themes will allow you to select multiple themes at the same time.
Sector
If you are looking for social housing or private housing or private/ social housing or public/ social housing, you can select your exact requirements and refine your search using the sector search box. You can select more than one criteria by holding down Ctrl on your keyboard as you select multiple options.
Enter Keywords
This option provides a very useful way of searching for details that are contained in the body text on the Demonstration Project web pages. Entering keywords is the best way to search for information such as for companies and organisations who might be working on a project as part of the Project Team. Please note: as these companies are not listed as the main organisation, they will not appear if you search for them using the 'Organisation' field.
Organisation
The organisation that is responsible for leading on the project will be listed and you can conduct a specific search on these. Enter the name of the company you want in the 'Organisation' field and select 'Search'. You will see a list of all the projects that the company is responsible for.
Region
Housing Forum Demonstration Projects are active all over the UK and this is reflected with each and every Demonstration Project being tagged to show up in the region that it is located in. This allows you to search and select all the projects that are active in your local area and keep abreast of all the developments that are happening with each of them at their key stages.
Demonstration Project Number
Each Demonstration Project has a unique project number that you can use to identify it by. If you know the Project Number just enter it in the search box as shown and select 'Search'. When the results appear, you will see the Demonstration Project number next to each project in the listing.
Project Status
Every project in the Demonstration Database shows you the current status of progress on that project. Each project provides information that explains its status to help keep you informed of any changes that may possibly influence the progress of the project. You can search on the project Status to see if the project is Active, Completed, On Hold, Rejected, Submitted, or Withdrawn. Click on the menu to select the status of the project you are looking for. Enter any of the key word, demonstration number or regional search criteria above to assist your search and select ‘Search’ to display your results.
Multiple Search Criteria selection
Search using keywords, themes, region and other selection criteria all at the same time to conduct your search. The intelligent search facility enables you to select any number of criteria that relate to the items you are searching for. The more specific you are, the quicker you will obtain results that closely match the criteria you entered. If you know very limited information about the demonstration project you are looking for, you can enter the information you have here and view the results.
By Project or Articles
At the bottom of the search box you have the option to search through all Projects and Articles either together or separately. By un-ticking the arrows in the boxes you can decide which set of information you want to search and then select ‘view all’ to peruse the results.
Case Study Only
Some Demonstration Projects have produced case studies which are available to view and download. You can specify your search for the Projects that only have case studies by adding your search criteria and then ticking the box next to 'Case Study’ before selecting 'Search'
